It is not easy to write an astonishing, impressive, readable article.

Besides an obvious talent, you also need focus, determination, and tenacity. The whiteness of a blank paper may affect writers in an inconvenient way but with desire, determination and hard work good writing seems possible.

When talking about SEO articles we have additional concerns in mind.

SEO means Search Engine Optimization, interpreted, your text will be selected by a web crawler, probably Google 🙂 , during someone’s organic search.  An obligation for a SEO copywriter is to write an article using certain keywords and to follow the SEO rules as mentioned in my post.

Practice makes perfect

Because I do believe in this quote, I’ll attempt to create the text containing main keywords and secondary keywords.

Using some 150 words by SEO method we will attempt to prepare an example of a typical SEO article. One should be aware though that for a good SEO article a minimum of thousand words will be required and even better results could be achieved by using more than 2,000 words. This will increase the chance to write an article containing enough keywords and a better chance to end up on top of an organic search after specific keyword.

On the other hand, the blog should have a minimum of 500 words.

Blog doesn’t have to be too wide, it should be long enough to give something to a reader, something that was worth reading .

But, lets practice.

So, our exercise:

  • Text with about 150 words
  • The main keyword is: Urinary incontinence
  • Secondary keywords are: diapers for adults, enuresis
  • Native ad for adult diapers

But the acceptance of wearing diapers defeats the dignity of our fellow citizens who entered the third age”.

Let’s analyse our SEO article, which we just wrote for practice.

The main keyword is in our headline, as it is in a first paragraph and in the fourth column of our text.

So, it is important to memorise this rule: the main keyword ALWAYS HAS TO BE in the headline and in the first section of a text.

Secondary keywords were being used through text randomly.

The article is written in a laid-back style, is rounded and keywords are submerged inside.

As I mentioned earlier, it is important to understand that the article should be written following keywords instead of trying to insert them into already written text.

In addition here is something more:

Another important guideline to follow for SEO copywriting is to provide proper density of keywords.

Google considers that by using more than 3% repetitions you are entering the “Black hat” zone and might be penalized and even banned permanently from a “search engine” (I’ll write about White Hat vs Black Hat soon).

One should keep in mind though that by using less than 1% of repetitions you are not practising SEO copywriting.

Even though there are lot of keyword checkers on the Internet there is also an old fashioned way to count number of keywords in your article.

Here it is:

Multiply the number of repetitions by the number of words that are in a keyword, and divide it by a number of words in a text and multiply by a hundred.

As you can see, if we are writing an article about urinary incontinence, we would be on the edge with this amount of keywords in the text.

To avoid that problem either we would write more text or we would have to write that keyword only two times and then we would satisfy complete formula.
